Electronic Devices in Exam Room
After input from our members and proctors, we are implementing the following policy immediately: “Electronic devices with an on/off switch (cell phones, smart phones, tablets, etc.) are not permitted in the examination room. Do not bring them as there is no place to stow them. If an electronic device is brought into the exam, the examinee will be disqualified. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Proctors are allowed to have their phones; however, they must be put on silent.” This policy goes out to all registered examinees and proctors, as well as being posted online.
