Mentoring Potential Officers

Believe it or not, it’s not too early to start thinking about next year, and as current officers it’s important for you to already be looking for potential candidates to fill your positions. It’s crucial to the well-being and growth of the chapter to elect new officers regularly, so be on the lookout for members who are involved, timely, and have great leadership potential. Involve them now in the planning and presentation of your meetings so they will feel comfortable with a nomination in the fall. Nominations will happen in September, followed by elections in October. Don’t wait!

    I think we forget that AAPC has the word professional in it with that being said, professionalism should always be fore most whenever your doing something that has to do with AAPC, wether it be a meeting, test or conference. That being said the showing of professionalism lays the foundation of how people see your chapter.
