HHS Officially Announces ICD-10 Compliance Date
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a rule on July 31, 2014 officially setting October 1, 2015 as the new compliance date for ICD-10. Kudos to AAPC as, for the first time, we are mentioned in the Federal Register in the final rule. On pages 5 and 6 of the document, AAPC’s efforts are mentioned. The wait is over, now it is time to get moving.
