CMS Releases Therapy Cap for 2015
The 2015 therapy cap for combined physical therapy and speech-language pathology services is $1,940. For occupational therapy, the cap for 2015 is $1,940, also. Physicians, therapists, and other providers who supply therapy services for Medicare patients should ensure that billing staff is aware of these changes. The therapy cap applies to home health and hospice for outpatient rehabilitation services, as well.
