MACRA Call Provides Answers
Wondering what MACRA stands for? Or how to participate in MIPS? May 16 is your chance to ask questions and get answers.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is holding a free event: Quality Payment Program: Answering Your Frequently Asked Questions Call, on May 16 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. ET.
What to Expect
During this call, CMS will answers frequently asked questions about MACRA and the Quality Payment Program from the 2018 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society Annual Conference & Exhibition and inquiries received by the Quality Payment Program Service Center. Then, they will open the phone lines to take questions from attendees.
Who Should Attend
If you are, or work for, a Medicare Part B fee-for-service clinician, this event is for you — that includes revenue cycle office personnel such as coders and billers. Prepare your questions and then register for this Medicare Learning Network event. Even if you don’t have a question, you may learn something from listening in.
You can’t afford not to be in the know about the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and advanced alternate payment models (APMs).
In Case You Miss It
If you have a question that can’t wait until May 16, or you are unable to attend the call, check out AAPC’s MACRA page and forum for an answer. Also, check AAPC’s Knowledge Center for a follow-up article to the call.
