There seems to be confusion over the difference between virtual meetings and virtual speakers, and what is approved and what is not part of a chapter meeting. Hopefully the following information will help clarify:
- Chapter meetings are always live (not recorded and viewed at a later date)
- Traditional chapter meetings are held in person
- All attendees are in person
- Virtual chapter meetings are not held in person
- All attendees are attending virtually
- The virtual chapter meeting is open to all members of that particular chapter
- Members of other chapters should attend their own chapter’s virtual meetings
- Chapter meetings are not recorded to be viewed at a later time
- Traditional chapter meetings are held in person
- Virtual speakers are live
- Virtual speakers are approved to present at traditional chapter meetings
- The speaker is presenting virtually but the audience is in person
- Virtual speakers are approved to present at virtual chapter meetings
- The speaker is presenting virtually, and the audience is attending virtually
- Virtual speakers are approved to present at traditional chapter meetings
