Get to Know Your AAPC NAB Regional Representatives

Region 3 – Mid-Atlantic NAB Representatives: Astara N. Crews, MJ, CHC, CPC, and Dianne Estes, CPC, CPB

It’s spring, and although it may not seem like it because the weather isn’t cooperating for some of the states in the mid-Atlantic Region who have been hit with unusual weather conditions for May ― it’s indeed May MAYnia time at AAPC local chapters!
Don’t forget to “spring to your local chapter” to be part of the May MAYnia fun. This month many AAPC local chapters are offering valuable professional information and education, but also chances to win prizes.
As a bonus (and to see how many of you are paying attention), we are offering a prize to the first three (3) people to guess which interesting fact below belongs to each of us. Send you answer to us via email at and Some rules apply, however:
1) You must match up the tidbit to the person correctly; and
2) Include in your email information about yourself (for example: what interesting fact should people know about you).
Fact No. 1: Studied pre-medicine for undergrad classes and law for graduate studies, and likes to travel.
Fact No. 2: Is a hospice and behavioral health guru, whose mission is to go to all major league ballparks by 2024.
We would love to hear feedback regarding your AAPC experience. Having trouble finding the right AAPC contact for an exam question, a membership issue, or even registering for the next conference? We can help get you connected with the right person or department at AAPC to get your issue resolved. Need a speaker for your chapter? Let us know that, too.
We are here to assist and advise members on how AAPC can best serve you. Let us know.
Happy May MAYnia month!
