Greetings from your Region 6 National Advisory Board (NAB) members! HEALTHCON 2019 is complete and we hope many of you were able to go to Las Vegas and attend the wide variety of educational and general sessions.

Pam Tienter and Jean Pryor | Region 6 – Great Lakes

At HEALTHCON, NAB members work in the educational sessions to make sure attendees are coming to the session they signed up for, ensure there is enough room, and help the speaker with anything they need. This year, all the sessions were well attended and we heard some great feedback. We enjoy seeing and hearing that attendees are getting a lot out of the conference.
In addition to the regular sessions, Wednesday’s breakfast was turned into a “regional breakfast.”  Tables were grouped by regions so NAB members could meet and network with attendees from their area. With the large number of attendees, we may not have been able to get around to everyone, although we tried. It was nice to hear your thoughts on the conference and your ideas for the future. We had a great turnout from Region 6!
As we go through May MAYnia and get into the summer months, start thinking about attending an upcoming regional conference. Regional conferences are packed full of amazing content, so be sure to attend whichever one is closer to you. First up is the New York City regional conference, Aug. 19-21, followed by the Seattle regional conference, Oct. 14-16. The entire NAB will be at the Seattle conference. Look for us in our black blazers. Maybe there will be a NAB activity for prizes there, as well. Wouldn’t it be fun to go home with not only the information and knowledge from the sessions (and the CEUs, of course), but a great prize, too?
