Message from AAPCCA Leadership

We suggest you entice members to come out in February by informing them of the possibilities and benefits of service as an officer.
“Dear Members, in October, local chapters will be asking members to vote for their new officers for the following year. This is your opportunity to ask questions and get your voice heard!
Active participation is necessary for a good viable chapter and voting is one of the greatest responsibilities in support of your chapter.
Thinking of running for one of these positions? It’s a great way to build confidence, leadership and network with other coders. I hear countless stories of coders who previously had difficulty finding coding positions, that find one after becoming a chapter officer.
You can learn more about the officer roles and responsibilities by reading the AAPC Local Chapter Handbook online, on the AAPCCA website.
We encourage you to reach out to your current officers.  Ask them about their experiences and what helped them succeed in those roles.
If you have an interest and desire, I know they will help you through the transition of becoming an officer.
Thank you for supporting your local chapter!”
