Ensure a Successful End to 2019!

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for serving as a local chapter officer! Without Local chapter officers we would not have successful local chapters.
With year-end rapidly approaching, let’s go over the year end checklist to make sure your chapter is set up to make 2020 a successful year as well.
The following items should have already been conducted (prior to October 31):

  • Conduct elections
  • Vice Presidents: Upload 2020 officers’ information to the AAPC website
  • Presidents: Finalize elections by ensuring all 2020 officers have accepted their positions on the AAPC website (Congrats to the newly elected 2020 officers!)

The following items should be completed prior to December 31:

  • All Officers: Conduct a transition meeting between 2019 and 2020 officers to transfer any helpful information (e.g., past speakers with topics and contact information, financial information and receipts)
  • All Officers: Encourage 2020 officers to attend officer training
  • Education Officer: Share information on the speakers bureau
  • Treasurer & President: Work with your members to spend down excess funds accumulated over 2019 (Remember, funds are to be spent for the benefit of the members as the funds belong to them)
    • Consider making a donation to The Hardship Fund as all the money goes back to AAPC members with no administration fees
Checks may be made payable to: AAPCCA Hardship Scholarship Program

Mail to:                                                AAPCCA Hardship Scholarship Program
2233 S Presidents Dr., Suite F
Salt Lake City, UT 84120

  • Treasurer & President: Ensure all financial information for the year has been uploaded

Once again, thank You for serving and I hope you have a very Happy Holiday Season!
