Happy New Year from your Region 5 NAB Representatives Vanessa Moldovan and Sherrie Remphry-Anderson!
It’s hard to believe that we are in 2020, but the beginning of this decade somehow feels like a real milestone. Do you feel it, too? There are all kinds of trendy phrases being thrown around: New year, new you; New year, new career; New year, new life; New year, new me; and so on. Do these mean anything to you? Do you feel inspired to make some changes? Have you spent any time thinking about your goals for this year, 5 years or 10 years? We know that it sounds like a silly fad, but we can tell you from experience that it makes a difference to have your goals written down and to have them visible. And it feels amazing to see those goals come to fruition!
By this time, you may be wondering what AAPC has to do with the setting of your personal goals. Why would your NAB representatives be writing about goal setting? One of the most important roles of the National Advisory Board members is to be advocates for you, our members. This is what we signed up for and we love to see the difference that it makes. Every month, we discuss how we can help improve the lives of our members. The most effective way for us to discover what the member needs are is if AAPC members reach out to us.
