New Process for Submitting Requests for CEUs for Chapter-Sponsored Seminars
If your chapter has planned a seminar lately, you’ve noticed there is a new format for requesting CEUs. The biggest change, which was made by request, is that separate catalogue numbers are now given for each presentation. So now, when submitting for approval for a chapter seminar, make sure to itemize each presentation, along with the speaker, topic and time. Because of this change, there is a new CEU certificate for seminars also. It is found online under “Forms” in the officer resources and is called the Seminar Certificate. When filling these forms out in advance for attendees, it is acceptable to include basic information such as dates, sessions and speaker names, as well as the signature of an officer. But the catalogue number and number of approved CEUs should be added by the attendees, after each particular session is attended. We suggest having one officer announce the catalog number and number of CEUs after each presentation.
