May 2022 CPT® Assistant Special Edition: Know the New Codes for Moderna’s Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccine

The CPT® Assistant Special Edition: May Update focuses on three new COVID-19 vaccine codes related to the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for patients 6 months to 5 years of age:

  • 0111A for administration of the first dose;
  • 0112A for administration of the second dose; and
  • 91311 for supply of the vaccine product.

These codes will become effective once the vaccine receives emergency use authorization from the Food and Drug Administration. Prepare now by reading this special edition, which includes clinical examples and procedure descriptions.
