Our two-day review course covers the competencies tested on the Certified Professional Coder (CPC®) certification exam, which include documentation review and accurate procedure and diagnosis code selection for evaluation and management, surgery, anesthesia, radiology, laboratory, pathology, and medicine for professional services. We will also review government regulations, compliance and reimbursement. We will provide test-taking tips and review questions that mimic those on the CPC® certification exam. This review is a great opportunity to gauge your readiness and identify competencies that you need to focus on. This is an accelerated review for coders with professional coding experience. Attendees must bring a CPT®, HCPCS Level II and ICD-10-CM codebooks. The Official CPC Study Guide is also required.
This two-day review course runs from 8 am to 5 pm each day. Breakfast will be provided. A one hour lunch break will be given at noon. You can take the CPC certification exam on July 10th or through a local chapter near you.
