Wiki 27759 & 27784

Hello all,

I just need some clarification on this one.

Dr. did a intramedullary nail of tibia fracture
ORIF on fib fracture (same leg)

Dx is open tibia fracture, but in history it indicates an associated fib fracture was visualized on x-ray.

Dr. filled out 27759 and 27784. Would this be acceptable? dx code 823.32 will not validate with 27784. It only wants to validate with fib alone. CCI doesn't bundle, but it just seems not to fit.

You would code only the 27759 as it states with or without fib fx.
