Order is for a vascular US of renal arteries.

INDICATION: 15-year-old male with hypertension. Prior history of abdominal testicle, status post bilateral takedown.

COMPARISON: None.

FINDINGS: Right kidney measures 10.5 cm. Left kidney measures 10.3 cm.No evidence of nephrolithiasis, mass, or hydronephrosis. The proximal right and left renal arteries were not well seen due to overlying bowel gas and velocities could not be obtained in this location.
