Activation of Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care requires 2 signatures by Physician or Psychologist.
My question is what CPT codes are involved with this examination and if this is two physicians that are seeing the patient? Can the physicians see the patient on the same date? Can both physicians submit charges? this is what I read in CMS.gov Psychotherapy codes should not be used when an E/M code would be more appropriate - L35101 POLICY I just can't find what the proper billing guidelines are for two physicians? Any help would be appreciated
