I'm pretty new to surgery coding and I would really appreciate some advice, if somone could come up with a code for this? One of my podiatry doctors did a procedure which he calls:
Total joint implant arthroplasty, 3rd metatarsophalangeal joint, with excision of dorsal bone spur formation/osteophytes along with medial/lateral resection.
The dx was arthritis.
