We are in the process of revamping our compliance audit program and would like to know if anyone has an audit tool for pathology. The code selection is done by the coders rather than billing providers. Any and all input is appreciated.

I heard the "Pathology Service Coding Handbook" by Dennis L. Padget is very helpful. This really isn't an audit tool, but you'll know if your coders are picking the right codes.
