So I am doing some research for my job over Autism Mandates who follows them and who does not.
So far I have Self Funded plans do not have to follow them - Employees can ask employer to add coverage
Fully Funded follow them because they are state regulated - follows whatever mandate the plan is in.
I have pulled each states mandate
We do ABA, OT, PT and ST.
If you have any other helpful information please comment, I want to make sure I have all the information that is out there before presenting it.
