Wiki Billing epidurograms with epidural steroid injections

My question is can I bill 62311 with 72275? I have an ortho that does these injections outpatient hospital. He does the epidurogram and then the steroid injection. He is dictating a separate report for the epidurogram and I add a 26modifier to 72275 because it is the hospitals equipment. I am trying to find the CCI edits for 62311, but I am not having any luck. Thanks for your help!

72275 is a column 2 code to 62311. You can add modifier 59 to 72275 if the documentation supports its use.

My doctor uses the large C arm for use as a diagnostic tool and as guidance for the needle placement. Diagnostically, he uses it to determine if there is nerve root clumping, scar tissue or other impediments to having the injection medication cover the targeted area for pain relief. Operative notes clearly indicate he is using the equipment as both with hard copy images kept in the patient chart and notes on what the epidurography indicated.
