Wiki Billing for Routine level of care for a hospice patient in an inpatient setting

I really need som help. We have a few patients that are hospice and are brought in as GIP ( general inpatient) level of care. A physician then determines the patient should be transfered to Routine but are waiting to be placed in SNF. Since the patient is routine level of care but still in an inpatient setting, what E/M codes should be used in this scenerio? Do we continue to use inpatient codes, or home ( routine) level codes? Please help
