Wiki Chief complaint vs. Diagnosis

On the H & P it states Chief complaint is LGIB and abdomen pain . And below that states diagnosis: screening. Do we not always go by chief complaint? Another office said when it is Humana and screening is listed in diagnosis to use that.

I am confused.



I appreciate any info.
