Are all the suture removal codes deleted now days? I see the 15850-15851 under anesthesia but what if the non-suturing physician removes them while the patient is at a visit for an unrelated condition?
I see the HCPCS S0630 code but is there another way to bill for this service?

There has never been a code for suture removal except for under anesthesia. If the repair has a global, and as of 2011 most of them do not, then you bill the same laceration repair code used by the surgeon and append the 55 modifier, if the repair has no global you bill an office visit, both methods using the dx code of V58.82. The ICD-10 CM will be very different.
