Patient was opened and doc found a large osteophyte that had split the supraspinatus. Doc took a burr and rongeurs to smooth the bone down. What CPT would you bill? This is an open procedure, not arthroscopic. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

After looking at all codes I have decided that this should be billed with a -22 modifier and not a specific procedure code for the debridement.
