My pain doctor does urine dip screens for all his patients that are pain meds subscribed by him. I am actually not having any issues with other insurances paying for them but I am with medicare. CPT used is 80101QW. what dx can be used with medicare. I use a screening code due to all we are doing is making sure that the pt is not using any other "drugs", if they are he won't see them. thanks for your help:cool:
