Hi All :=)
Got a question concerning Non Face to Face Physician Services and more
specifically "Telephone Services".
On page 36 of the 2012 CPT professional it gives a code 99441 for telephone
E & M service for an established patient, (then the corresponding time component codes 99442-43).
This is probably a stupid question but a provider rep for a "MAJOR" insurance
company said she heard someone tell her
that someone was using the telephone reporting WITH some of the Care of Older Adult Codes (ie.: 1170F, 1160F, 1159F, 0521F, 1125F, etc.)??? I don't think that can be done myself!? Does anyone know any other specific information (if it exists) concerning "TELEPHONE SERVICES" than that info. on page 36 of the 2012 CPT professional, ie. additional possible extended services to be utilized in conjunction with telephone recording if
possible??
