ER Coding of DOA

How would you code for an ER Physician announcing patient DOA? They physician did a complete exam. Would this be billable by the ER physician and if so would you use an ER or discharge code?

If the cause of death is unknown look inder the 798.x category. since the patient was never admitted it would just be an ER level.
