Has anyone received clarity around whether a nephrologist can bill with their in-person visit code to get paid at that rate, or do they bill the Virtual Check In code?
The guidelines are stating that nephrologists can use telehealth to complete their in-person visit. They are assuming that they can still bill at the regular rate. I am thinking as a compliance officer, that does not sound accurate.
