Wiki Excision Coding Question

Patient had excision of left submandibular subcutaneous mass (2.5 x 2.2 x 0.8cm). Patient sent to recovery. Patient then had to return back to the operating room for exploration because of bleeding from the wound. Discovered a small artery which had a hole which was cauterized. Can anyone please help with CPT and ICD9 code.

First need to know what the mass turned out to be.

Final diagnosis is chronic abscess in subcutaneous fat, secondary to ruptured epidermal inclusion cyst.

For the main procedure I would think 21012. Not sure about the second. Haven't found anything yet.

Maybe you can have your doctor look at 35800.
