Hi,
In this case i used the codes 36010, 37203, 75961.
My query is in the report US and FLUORO guidance are used, how should i code this can i use (76937 and 77001) Please confirm.
Total fluoroscopy time: 8 minutes.
The left
groin was prepped and draped in the usual sterile fashion. The
skin and subcutaneous tissues were anesthetized using 1%
Lidocaine. The left femoral vein was accessed with a
micropuncture set, under ultrasound guidance. Exchange was made
for a 6 French sheath. En-Snare catheter was advanced into the
SVC and the foreign body was snared and removed. The sheath was
removed. Compression was held in left groin and sterile dressing
was applied. No immediate complications.
The patient tolerated the procedure well and left the department
to return to the ED in stable condition. There were no immediate
complications.
IMPRESSION:
Fluoroscopy guided foreign body removal using En-Snare device, via
left femoral vein approach.
