When a Psychiatrist orders an EKG to check for elevated QTC levels because of a drug that is prescribed (in this case geodon, an antipsychotic) raises it what icd 9 code would uphold the EKG? The only thing I can think of is V58.83 but it wouldn't uphold it for medicare. It says on the drug website that it should be done before the drug is started
