Hi all.
My name is Jenn Albrecht and I am the Billing Manager for a local alcohol and drug treatment center. I have been absent due to a family tragedy for almost 20 weeks and many things have changed. My biggest question that I am desperate for help with is that one of my private payors is telling me that Medicare no longer accepts H codes for drug and alcohol treatment. First off, is this correct? Second, when did it change? Third, why did it change? And fourth, what are we doing instead? I would sincerely appreciate any and all help that I could regarding this issue. Thanks so very much!
