I have a provider who saw a patient in the hospital and charged a discharge visit on 1-3-19 (99239). The patient wasn't officially discharged from the hospital on 1-4-18 and the same provider came back and charged a hospital visit (99232). Do I go ahead and bill out the discharge visit, since that is what the provider selected? Thanks for the help in advance.
