hospital follow up or discharge?

hi all!!! one of our docs saw a patient in the hospital as a follow up (99232), but she died after he saw her. Should the CPT be changed to a discharge (99238 or 99239)? Thank you in advance for the help!!

Unless this doc pronounced the patient, he/she can't code a discharge. I would stick with the 99232.
