I was wonder if anyone knew of any good resources when learning how to bill infusions.

We have an Office Infusion site were patients come to get infusions of antibiotics. We do the infusions here in the office but also send certain patients home on the pumps.

I am just trying to wrap my head around how the billing is done.

What are you able to bill for? What guidelines need to be met?

Does anyone know if there is a resource to figure all this out? Thanks

Infuison on weekend

We give infusions to patient in office. I know that Medicare do not pay for home infusions, so if we send patient home on weekend with drug, how do we bill Medicare?

Any response from experts is appreciated.
