My physicians are performing a Paracentesis and placing a pigtail catheter for continues ascitic removal.

A pressure monitor is attached to the Foley catheter in bladder and pressures are ascertained after infusion of fluid . They need to know abdominal pressure when a patient has a distended abdomen, low urine output, difficulty breathing or low blood pressure.

I am not sure if this procedure would be included in the critical care E/M codes.

Is this a separately billable service in Critical care and if so what cpt would I use?

Thanks for your help.
