Hi everyone, I have an office that is using CPT 99000 to bill for a lab draw. They are patients that are already there for another reason OR they may come in specifically for the lab draw. They are using this code for both Medicare and PPO. Is that a correct code? It does not seem right to me, but I have not had success in providing a better code.
