Question Medicare denying G0447 when billed w/quantity 2 even tho MUE (max unit of svc) is 2- why?

Hello all,
G0447 is face-to-face obesity counseling, 15 min. by a qualified non-physician practitioner.
When we previously billed this, we changed our quantity from 2 to 1 and the claims would get paid (even though we treated the patient for 30 min.).
When we updated our MUE table to 2 for this HCPC code (because that's what Medicare's MUE table shows), now our claims are getting denied with the reason:
"Benefit max time for the time period".
(This service is the only item and the claim, and we have the required ICD-10 diagnostic and BMI codes present, and we haven't exceeded the other requirements (one face-to-face visit every week for the first month, one visit every other week for months 2-6, etc.)
Is the MUE for G0447 really just 1? And there's a problem with Medicare's table?

Are any of you also encountering this Medicare denial of G0447?
(I'm representing a Hospital, this service is provided by our Nutritional practitioners who are qualified to provide this service.)
Thanks in advance!
Felicia

FYI re: query above, we've been told the Medicare MUE table is incorrect, and G0447 should have a MUE of 1.
Hopefully they now know this and are correcting it.
Thanks!
