A little confused when to use the AJ. If the provider is a LCSW, are they also listed as the billing provider with the AJ, or are they listed only as the rendering provider, and the supervising doc is listed as the billing provider with an AJ?
 
There shouldn't necessarily be a "supervising doc" for a social worker.

Although this is more billing focused, I believe they should be listed as the billing provider.
 
When billing MCPTB, AJ is used in order for Therapist to obtain payment. The therapist is listed as the provider of services. Hope this helps.
