Hi All!

My provider provided wound care and home health care to a patient. Is there a code the doctor can use in order to get paid for required forms and documents? I didn't think so but I told the doctor I would double check.

Your question is vague so it's hard to know exactly what your provider has done. But if you mean a code for the forms required to order and certify a patient's home health care services, Medicare does reimburse for this under HCPCS codes G0179 and G0180. Here is a link to Novitas' guidelines for the requirements to meet in order to bill for these. Hope this helps some.
