Wiki Need some help on 62/80

My doctor just gave me a ticket for an ERCP and then told me another doctor had to make a hole (internally) in the stomach to allow my doctor the approach for the ERCP. I would think I would use the 62 modifier but a co-worker said because my doctor did the actual procedure and the other doctor did less she would use an 80??

I don't agree, but I've never been as polished with modifiers as I would like.

Please help the best you can.

It looks to me that 62 modifier is not allowed for 74328 if that is the code you are using, but the 80 is allowed.
