Good Morning,

Please help we are billing codes 96138 and 96139 on the same day as 96136 and 96137. Blue Cross is denying the 96138 and 96139 as not paid separately.
Can we bill these on the same day?

Are you having a physician or other qualified healthcare provider AND a technician administer test on the same day? So in other words the doctor and the technician are doing SEPERATE test on the same day?
 
We are having this same problem at our office. Thinking we will have to appeal since documentation supports billing both.
