How would you bill for the initial visit when consulted to the ER for a injured patient? If Nurse practitioner see's patient and physcian comes later to access. The nurse practitioner dictates the consult or H & P, which provider will be billed? The nurse or the physician? What are the guidelines for hospital patients? Thanks Kay
