Hello

My questionis is in Ohio if a PA sees a patient and establishes a txmt plan for a patient such as sclero then the DR reviews and signs off (ov billed under pa). Then the patient returns for subsequent visits just for the sclero but the DR is in the office during those sclero visits, can you bill MDCR under the DR since he was in the office to supervise or not because he wasn’t the one that created the original treatment plan even though he reviewed and agreed with signature?

Any help would be appreciated

Thank you

Reviewing and agreeing does not meet the requirements for 'incident to' billing. The physician would need to participate in the evaluation of the patient and the formulation of the treatment plan. If the physician did not personally see the patient, then the visit should be billed under the PA's credentials.
