Wiki Peripheral Neuropathy vs. Peripheral Autonomic Neuropathy

I have come across in a medical record numerous times DM with Peripheral Neuropathy. I was wondering should it be coded as DM with Polyneuropathy or DM with Peripheral Autonomic Neuropathy even though the medical record does not actually say 'autonomic'. Please I need clarification.
