Is there anyone that is coding Anesthesia PQR for the temperature mgmt.
It is my understanding that if the case is less than 60 minutes no matter the type of anesthesia that it will require the code 4256f
If the case is over 60 or over it will require the 4255f and then it will require the 4250f if at least one body temp equal to or greater than 36 degrees centigrade recorded within 30 min before or 15 min after anesthesia.
4250f-1p if temp not recorded withing the time frame due to anesthetic technique; nerve block w/o general anesthesia or mac
4250f-8p if no temp was recorded
Am i correct? or totally confused...
Thank you
