Hello all,

If anyone can help me figure out how much to charge for an E/M project I will be workng on, I would certainly appreciate it. I will be coding a large amount of Initial Hospital records - price per chart? I need a ball park to price. Thank you!
 
It really depends. Straight paper charts for inpatient facility should be at least 10 per chart but could be more depending on the length and needs of the place your contracting with.
For Physician, much less but also depends on if you are doing straight paper or having to deal with VPNs and logging into systems that may or may not be running properly. Never less than 2 per chart of these but more like 3,4,5 is more worth your time.
