Wiki Question about G0181 and Hospice

Ok, I am knewish at coding and billing and I work for Hemo/onc and I just received a letter askin for a tckbck for G0181 from Mdcr for the total pymt I don't understand why? and some of these are from 2009 can anyone provide me with some answers. I appreciate the help very much.

My guess is the reason you received the letter is due to Medicare's RAC audits. The letter should explain to you why they feel it necessary to recoup the payments. If the letter doesn't explain in enough detail for you to understand, contact the Medicare financial department for your area, or the number listed on the letter. Good luck!
