Aetna is advising me they are exclusive with Teladoc. Aetna member must use Teladoc, if they do not use Teladoc services will NOT be covered...

Has anyone encountered this?

We would be using our own program to set up TeleHealth visits via web (audio and visual)

OB/GYN practice located in New York (Long Island/Queens)

Not a lot of experience yet, but each carrier can set their own rules and regulations. In general, I have found that Aetna can vary greatly depending on plan/employer. I thought most carriers were following Medicare’s lead, but I don’t have any correspondence from Aetna.
